Product Details:
The upward continuous casting machine is used to produce long and bright oxygen-free copper rods, copper tubes and copper flat strips.It is mainly used for the wire and cable industry, with the outstanding properties of high conductivity, low oxygen content and good draw ability.
Raw materials are molten in the melting furnace, and the copper liquid is covered with coke and flake graphite to avoid oxidation. After melting process, the holding furnace keeps the copper liquid temperature at about 1150°C. The casting machine crystallizes the copper liquid quickly in crystallizer, and continuously output copper rods (copper flat strips).
Main Composition
- Induction Furnace: Power frequency induction melting furnace and induction holding furnace.
- Continuous Casting Machine/Withdrawal machine:The continuous casting machine is equipped with servo motor. It is controlled by PLC system.

The water cooling system is a separate water circulation system that supplies cooling water to the crystallizer, water jacket and induction coil.

Oxygen Free Copper Rod Upward Continuous Casting Production Steps:
Copper cathode to be put on the furnace through the lifting system for baking→Ajust the feeding speed and feed the copper cathode into the melting furnace for melting (charcle to be used for avoiding the oxygen) → Flow into the holding furnace → Flow into the crystallizer, and the copper rods come out → Flow into the casting device →Go through the separate shelf → Go through the tension tower ( to control the take up speed) → Go through the take up machine, and finish coiling.
